A heartwarming day at Citizens Academy Southeast as Chick-fil-A, through their annual Cookies for Kids campaign, sponsored the Coats for Kids coat distribution event! 🧥🍪

Thanks to the incredible support from our community, approximately 700 students at Citizens Academy received brand-new winter coats! ❄️👧👦 Chick-fil-A’s commitment to making a difference truly warmed our hearts.

But that’s not all! 🐔🍔 Chick-fil-A went above and beyond by providing a delicious lunch for all students, staff, and dedicated event volunteers. It was a day filled with warmth, nourishment, and smiles.

🍂 As part of the Chick-fil-A area, students had the chance to express their gratitude on colorful leaves and add them to the gratitude tree on the wall. 🍁🌳 The Chick-fil-A cow even made a special appearance, creating unforgettable memories for everyone involved.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate the generosity of Chick-fil-A and the amazing community spirit that made this event possible. 🙌💙 Remember, you can still contribute to this fantastic cause by supporting the Cookies for Kids campaign at participating northeast Ohio Chick-fil-A restaurants until the end of November.

Together, we’re making a difference, one coat and one smile at a time! 😊👏#CoatsForKids#CookiesForKids#CommunityUnity#ChickfilACares

A Special Thank You From Douglas MacArthur Academy

On December 7, 2022, Coats for Kids held a coat event at the Douglas MacArthur Girls Leadership Academy. We recently received many beautiful thank you cards from the students. This brings big smiles to all of us at Coats for Kids😆 Enjoy reading a couple of these sweet cards below!

The event was made possible and sponsored by Chick-Fil-A and the money raised by their 🍪Cookies for Kids🍪 programs that ran from Nov 1 – Nov 30 at participating Northeast Ohio area Chick-fil-A restaurants. Chick-fil-A donated 100% of the proceeds of every chocolate chunk cookie (including 6-packs) purchased to Coats for Kids!

This event was extra special because we had an incredible team of all women volunteers who enjoyed shopping for a new winter coat with all the girls at this Girls Leadership Academy!

Successful Fundraising Campaigns By Our Partners Help Keep More Kids Warm In New Winter Coats!

A sincere THANK YOU to everyone who bought a paper coat at Discount Drug Mart or a chocolate chunk cookie at Chick-fil-A during November. 100% of the proceeds of both events came back to Coats for Kids.

We are thrilled to announce that the Discount Drug Mart Paper Coat Campaign generated $70,000 from its customers. We are also excited that Chick-fil-A sold $57,339 in Cookies for Kids!

💵As we always say, every dollar does make a difference. Discount Drug Mart sold 70,000 paper coats, each of which was worth $1.

🍪And every single cookie counted, too, amounting to more than $57,000.
